Building the tombstone
As with the spider, the tombstone is cut from foam board. Its shape comes from simply rounding off the top edge of the sheet.
Using a 12mm spacing template, we marked the position of every hole for the WS2811 pixels, then made each hole the right size. The letters R, I and P were marked and filled the same way.
The finished prop uses 146 pixels, including two blanks between the edge and the letters.
